I am a practicing neurosurgeon and have an interest in finding affordable medical treatment options. How many of us know that a large part of the cost of a tablet is spent of promoting it and good quality medicines are available at a fraction of the cost of popular drugs. Same is true for investigations. Can you belive me that a lipid profile can be got done for as little as Rs 40/- (your neighbourhood pathologist charges over Rs 300/-)
I intend to post list of good quality drugs and investigations and compare the savings one can make by opting for them instead of what our doctor prescribes
